Lou Freund is the Director of the Graduate Program in Human Factors and Ergonomics at San Jose State University. He is also a Professor of the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering, where he has been on the faculty since 1986. He is an IIE (Institute of Industrial Engineers) Fellow, and recognized by HIMMS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) for contributions to the field.
