ISSIP Digital Service Designer

Dr. Alessio Giuiusa is Inbound Area Manager (Operations) at AMAZON.it where he in is in charge of a team of 120 people.

He is also the Digital Service Designer-in-Chief for ISSIP.

In 2012 he was recognized as a Distinguished Visiting Scholar at IBM Almaden Research Center in USA, where he specialized in Service Design and Service Science Research. Prior to this valuable experience, Alessio worked as a Quality Manager and Project Manager for facility, property and assets management business environments.

Alessio is also active in research within operations management, service innovation and service design area. He has published high quality international conferences proceedings. He also a frequent lecturer on Project Management and Six Sigma, actively training university students and high profile consultancy teams.

Alessio holds a MSc in Industrial Engineering and a PhD in Business and Economics Engineering both from “University of Rome”
