Louis Freund, ISSIP Ambassador to Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFS)

Dr. Louis Freund is the Director of the Graduate Program in Human Factors and Ergonomics at San Jose State University. He is also a Professor of the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering, where he has been on the faculty since 1986. He is an IIE (Institute of Industrial Engineers) Fellow, recognized by HIMMS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) as one of the 50 most influential people in Healthcare IT, and has been an active member of  Human Factors and Ergonomics Society since 1993.
