ISSIP/BEP Collection Editors
2 ISSIP Book Collections with BEP
On the topics of service system innovations and collaborative intelligence

Some books in the ISSIP-BEP collections have been used as additional reading resources for leading universities including Harvard Business School.

This collection includes short books (169+ areas <13+ Discipline Areas, 13+ System Areas>) that explain practical advances that best exemplify service innovations:

from multiple disciplinary perspectives (e.g., marketing, operations, management, engineering, computing, design, and more).
across multiple business and societal systems (e.g., retail & hospitality, finance & banking, information & communication technologies, health & education, utilities and urban services)

Why You Should Join Our Authors

  • You might already have your own “technical notes” that you ask your students to read or your own PowerPoint presentations that you use to teach specific topics. These materials can serve as the starting point of a short book.
  • Collection editors will guide you through topic selection, assist you in achieving the appropriate tone in your writing, and then support you through the production process.
  • Professional editors will also help you polish the manuscript. Business Expert Press employs a quick 120-day production timeline after acceptance of completed booklet proposal. All editors and operations are based in the United States.
  • The book can be supplemented with cases, articles, newsletter, podcasts, website and more.
  • BEP will distribute your book through StudyNet, University Readers, Xanedu and other leading providers of course packs.
  • You could use it in your teaching or consulting practice.
  • BEP will sell your booklet both in print and in digital collections to the business school libraries of the world.

Converting your expertise into short, focused publishable work for the business education market will be a valuable contribution. We thank you, in advance, for your help growing these book collections. This booklet project is an ongoing project; there is no deadline for new proposals and completed booklets in the near future. We believe that it will take us multiple years to cover all 169+ areas.

Why we picked BEP as a publisher:

  1. BEP is very strong in the business publication sector,
  2. BEP allows authors to reuse the content they publish with BEP, without permission, so long as the authors render it in a shorter or longer format,
  3. very quick publication cycle, and
  4. good loyalty programs for authors.

If you have an idea for a booklet that would fit this business model, please contact us via email. We look forward to discussing this opportunity with you.

Guidelines

We ask prospective authors to become familiar with books in the two collections, to ensure a good fit. Also, keep in mind:

  • Keep it short = ~80 pages in length book invitation for you and/or colleagues to consider.
  • The purpose is to provide both academic and industry perspectives on service system innovations past, present and future, as well as collaborative intelligence, which is often a driver of service innovations in the AI era.
  • The primary market is the working professionals, executive development, MBA & master programs, and upper-level undergraduates.
