Call For Participation in The Service Futures SIG

SF-SIGThe Service Futures SIG (SF-SIG) within ISSIP is focused on enabling members to understand and internalize the diverse changes taking place to services. Service related efforts are an ever increasing segment of business. The pressure to reduce latency and generate actions in a more timely fashion is increasingly driven by the desire to improve quality and business differentiation, yet our capabilities to absorb the information torrent generated is limited. This is an example of the topics we will be tackling with white papers, discussion groups… but we need your participation.

Each industry and service segment has its own set of issues and constraints. As these are overcome in one area, many times the lessons can be applied to other regions. Envisioning how these conflicts will be resolved and comparing approaches to prepare our organizations for a new world is a primary focus of the Future Services SIG. The SIG is looking for those who can see the conflicts and would like to share their views and support each other in our efforts to be service innovators.

Charlie Bess, HP Fellow, Cloud Advisor, chairs the SF-SIG.  Charlie frequently covers similar topics on the HP Next Big Thing blog.    The SIG meets on monthly conference calls.  If you are interested in joining , please contact Charlie  Bess, HP Fellow @ chair-sfsig@ISSIP.org.
