Francesco Polese is Full Professor of Business Management in the Department of Business Sciences—Management & Innova- tion Systems at Salerno University, where he teaches service management, marketing, and healthcare management. He is the director of Interdepartmental Centre SIMAS (Innovation Systems and Healthcare Management) and author of several books addressing networks and management in healthcare environments. His work utilizes a systems thinking perspective, his research interests include the viable systems approach, service science, and complexity.
