Consistent with ISSIP Bylaws, and Policies, ISSIP Nominations Committee is conducting a search for the Chair of ISSIP Next Generation Manufacturing Community of Interest.
All members of ISSIP are invited to participate in this process.
Qualifications for this position includes, a demonstrated interest in next generation manufacturing, service science, management, and engineering, robotics, IoT/IoE, plus facilitation, community building, and moderate amount of project management.
The position requires ~ 2 hours/week. The COI currently meets every week for 30 minutes over teleconference.
This position is highly visible with exposure to thought leaders and experts from industry, research centers and academic institutions across the globe and is a great opportunity for those interested in expanding their network.
Responsibilities include:
- Keeping a roster of speakers, and scheduling talk.
- Generating and publishing meeting notes
- Keeping a repository of speaker slides and audio/video calls
- Providing a monthly status update of the COI activities
- Provide a quarterly update of membership stats to the BOD Members on ISSIP quarterly BOD calls
- Help grow the ISSIP membership base
