Michele S. Tomic

Michele S. Tomic, Editor, MBA in Executive Management, St. John’s University
Michele spent her professional career as a Risk Manager within the financial services sector. Early on in her career, Michele realized the benefits of technology and that perspective has not changed in 30 years. She worked as part of a global team developing and deploying risk policies and processes to support business activities and regulatory requirements. As part of this, Michele acted as a business analyst partnering with system developers to implement policy requirements in user technology platforms. Throughout her career, Michele was recognized for her ability as a project manager, policy and technical trainer, and technical writer as she travelled around the globe for her global bank employers helping connect her colleagues across business segments and functions. She expanded these abilities to new areas through her work as an editor for articles intended for peer-reviewed business journals and as an organizer of business conferences and events. In the Fall of 2018, Michele is excited to teach a class in Commercial Banking to third year undergraduate students at St. John’s University, New York.
Michele is a soccer enthusiast, tennis player, gardener, and enjoys cooking for family and friends.
