Yassi Moghaddam

YassiMYassi Moghaddam is the Executive Director of International Society of Service Innovation Professionals (ISSIP). In this capacity, she has been catalyzing industry-academia collaboration in cutting-edge research, best industry practices, and innovative educational models focused to prepare businesses and individuals for  the fast-changing world of work.

Yassi is also the Managing Director of Stradanet, a Silicon Valley-based boutique consulting firm that helps  technology teams of all sizes explore and realize the tremendous value-creation opportunities that exist at the intersection of big data, analytics, AI, and customer experience.

Yassi brings over 25 years of service and product innovation experience with Fortune 500 companies as well as early-stage to pre-IPO startups.  In previous business development and marketing roles, she had contributed to more than $500M sales, $50M P&L, and multi-million-dollar university-industry technology transfers.  Previously, she was the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Apogee Photonics, a successful Princeton University incubator, where she was instrumental in the company’s $23 million venture capital fundraising, and its growth from a inception to multi-million-dollar revenue in less than 3 years.  Prior to that, she led business development efforts at Avici Systems where her work was core to the success of company’s initial public offering ($1B+).  Earlier in her career, she held several senior management positions in Lucent Technologies and Bell Laboratories (Labs) leading product marketing, management, and certification of a number of flagship products and services.   She started her career at AT&T Bell Labs in R&D.

Yassi is the lead author of  The Future of Work: How Artificial Intelligence Can Augment Human Capabilities, and T-Shaped Professionals: Adaptive Innovators.

She holds an MBA from Columbia University, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (EE) from Georgia Institute of Technology, and Bachelor of Science in EE from University of Oklahoma.
